Olympic Icons — Introduction to Graphic Design

Developed a cohesive set of minimalist Olympic-inspired icons using Adobe Illustrator, demonstrating proficiency in vector design, visual consistency, and conceptual representation. The project drew inspiration from notable Filipino athletes, including Carlos Yulo, 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Champion; Hidilyn Diaz, gold medalist in weightlifting at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics; and the Philippine men’s basketball team (Gilas Pilipinas), representing one of the country’s most celebrated and enduring sports traditions. The icons reflected national pride and athletic excellence while emphasizing clarity, balance, and visual harmony through digital illustration.
