Being a STEM Major at a Women-Centered University | Simmons University
In this video, Mary Varney ’28 shares why pursuing a STEM major at a women-centered university can be incredibly empowering. She reflects on the supportive academic environment, mentorship opportunities, and the confidence students gain when women lead in science and research spaces. Produced as part of the Studio 5 team, this video was created through my work in the university’s Communications and Marketing department to highlight student experiences and opportunities, including where to find research fellowships on campus.
